CALL FOR ARTICLES: Discourse Analysis in Malaysian English Language Teaching It is a known fact that Language Acquisition does not proceed merely with the hard-and-fast rules that students are exposed to in the language classroom. Other factors play significant roles in contributing to language learning and acquisition. Amongst these is the discourse of English language teaching and learning in the classroom. While studies on discourse analysis in English language teaching in general are readily available, we lack those that narrow it specifically to the context of the Malaysian classroom. Contributors are invited to submit chapters that focus on Discourse Analysis in Malaysian English Language Teaching. The proposed book will be useful to Malaysian English language educators as well as researchers of second language learning and acquisition as it will shed light on understanding the various processes that contribute to students’ language acquisition in the classroom. Please contact Dr. Normala Othman (meltaseries@gmail.com) for submission of abstracts and full papers.
