Paper 1:

1. Hamlet, or
2. As You like It
3. Selected Poems and Letters of Keats, or
4. Selected Shorter Poems of Thomas Hardy
5. Jane Eyre, or
6. Brave New World

Paper 2:

1. Spirit of the Keris : A Selection of Malaysian Short Stories and Poetry
2. Nissim Ezekiel-Collected Poems 1952-1988
3. Wide Sargasso Sea -Jean Rhys
4. Kehinde - Buchi Emecheta

Anyone wants to make a choice of text to initiate the discussion.

oh dear, have not read any of the novels or shakespeare's plays. we probably have to start off with the poems first. how about the selected shorter poems of Keats? What are those poems?

u can buy spirit of the keris from skoobs, silverfishbooks or any bookshop that sells malaysian novels. i do not know what the selected poems of keats and hardy are.

i don't know which poems of Nissim Ezekiel are studied, but here are some of his poems from the internet. Can someone help us as to which poems of keats, hardy and nissim's are studied?

STPM Literature in English Seminar

All upper and lower six students sitting for the Literature in English paper in the STPM examination are invited to attend a two-day seminar organized by the School of Language Studies and Linguistics, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. The details of the seminar are as follow:

Dates: 8 & 9 Oct 2004 (Friday and Saturday)
Time : 8.30 – 4.30 pm
Place: School of Language Studies and Linguistics, UKM

sorry for this late reply. you can get the book from any bookstore that sells school books. i saw it in popular.

or try any of the bookshops along jalan tunku abdul rahman. they usually sell school books.

if you still can't get it, go to dewan bahasa and pustaka. there is a book store at the ground floor of the building.

if you still can't get it...hmmmm.....look for any form one guy/gal, give some candy to him or her, borrow the book and photocopy it.
