Being bilingual from birth
The period from birth to school has been shown to be crucial in a child's development. CRUCIAL. Particularly, kids from age 0 to 5. Those with parents speaking two languages should ensure that the two languages (or more) are spoken at home so that their children would become naturally bilingual. Some serious considerations pertaining to this suggestion is: the languages must be spoken as either native languages or like first languages. We dont want our kids to grow up speaking Manglish as first language, altho some may argue that this can be a variety of a language. Your thoughts on this?
